Manu Ferrón - "Unanimiedad"

lone006EP

New product

EP 7" Vinyl.

Now Manu, whose purpose and main commitment is the education at its different levels (somehow in Pennac's way), has written his own songs, and the first sample of his talent as a solo artist is the single "Unanimiedad", that contains tracks like "A Trabajar" y "El Mueble". Two songs, slightly more than 5 minutes of lucidity, elegance and craftsmanship. Two perfect songs.

More info

Manu Ferrón has been writing for a while. A bit whatever and wherever. Chronicles of concerts in provincial newspapers. Interviews with artists. Stories and poetry. He has written about music and literature in fanzines. He has written allegations, manifests. He has written on napkins and notebooks, on typewriters and laptops. He has also written lyrics. Some have been recorded by friends like Los Planetas or La Estrella de David. Others (with its corresponding music) by himself, along with Grupo de Expertos Solynieve. Besides, he just adapted the texts of Italian maestro Franco Battiato's latest album to Spanish, Apriti Sesamo, together with Jota (Los Planetas). Something halfway between Randy Newman and Battiato -precisely-, Destroyer and Vainica Doble, Kiko Veneno and Big Star, in perfect Spanish and with the intention of giving us plenty to talk and to think about.

Pop-rock that is generational and timeless at the same time; an album where Ferrón tells us about growing old and thinks about a way of life that no longer admits some epiphanies.

Two songs, slightly more than 5 minutes of lucidity, elegance and craftsmanship. Two perfect songs.
