Acuarela Discos releases this long-expected 7”,a result of the collaboration between David Cordero (leader for over 10 years of the post-rock band Úrsula), and the Spanish music revelation of this last year, Niño de Elche. The single is made up of two lullabies in which both artists mix experimental, ambient, poetry and flamenco along with an incontestable emotionalism and talent.

Niño de Elche himself explains the origins and nature of this collaboration: “When I discovered ambient music thanks to David Cordero, I discovered a new field in which to experiment other vocal and sonorous attitudes in order to sing lullabies. Ambient became the best bedding I could find to satisfy my intuition because it grants me an ideal sound space to create a state in which we can immerse ourselves in the search of how to achieve communication beyond the conscious. These lullabies that we present are a chant, and like every chant it has a personal side; from that privacy we try to connect with the routine character of the song as a fundamental axis of a life based on relationships among people. The existence of these lullabies cannot be understood without a sender/receiver relationship. It is a chant born to communicate; but the aim of communication is not only to sleep, but to dream, and that is the exact space which we try to reach in this encounter”.
